Posies are herbs that people would carry with them around the time of the Plague, they were meant to ward off the smell. That entire song is about people dying, lmfao. "Ring around the rosy" is about the rosy rash that some people would get as a symptom of the plague. "Ashes, ashes" is about the cremation of the bodies and "we all fall down" is about people finally dying because of the Plague. That song was depressingly scary before Dead Space touched it, ahaha.
