@AndyMarquisLIVE They just worked hard. An accelerating effect of modern machinery is to blind us to the feats that may be accomplished by the application of consistent effort and organization. Also, its amusing to see people write drivel like 'Chariots of the Gods' because they're overawed by things like the pyramids and the Great Wall of China, illustrative of the rising disconnect between the present and the past...
