And lastly a question, unwashed meats have residual blood and are potential of carrying germs aint it? then how to get rid of them if not by washing?

Yes, we were laughing - very hard and thoroughly enjoying the whole process :)
Regarding the meats - you can wash them and pat dry the the steaks if you are unsure. We get our meats from a very reliable store and made sure we kept it in the fridge right upto the point of using it.

It is not necessary to wash raw meat. By washing it, you actually spray raw juices all over your sink and counter, causing a health hazard.
