Manly Hall - Opening the Doors to the Invisible

Manly Palmer Hall was a Canadian-born author and mystic. He is perhaps most famous for his work The Secret Teachings of All Ages: An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy, which is widely regarded as his magnum opus, and which he published at the age of 27.

He has been widely recognized as a leading scholar in the fields of religion, mythology, mysticism, and the occult.

In 1934, Hall founded the Philosophical Research Society (PRS) in Los Angeles, California, dedicating it to an idealistic approach to the solution of human problems. The PRS claims to be non-sectarian and entirely free from educational, political, or ecclesiastical control, and the Society's programs stress the need for the integration of philosophy, religion, and science into one system of instruction. The PRS Library, a public facility devoted to source materials in obscure fields, has many rare and scarce items now impossible to obtain elsewhere.

In 1973 (47 years after writing The Secret Teachings of All Ages), Hall was recognized as a 33º Mason (the highest honor conferred by the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite), at a ceremony held at PRS on December 8th, despite never being initiated into the physical craft.

In his over 70-year career, Hall delivered approximately 8,000 lectures in the United States and abroad, authored over 150 books and essays, and wrote countless magazine articles.

We, as individuals already are willing to live in peace. It is the "collective we" who consent to the agenda of our rulers to go to war in the name of "peace, freedom, and defending" our respective nations from other nations who are defending themselves against us. The US, as a Christian nation, is the world's aggressor and terrorist.  The true Dark Ages began, and were caused by Christianity. "By their fruits you will know them". Who has time to learn? Well, the person constantly seeking entertainment and ways to satisfy his greed, does not.. And our modern society is basically based around these two factors. So maybe people should start living as individuals instead of in a social melting pot of public relations, war, crime and politicians wanting to steer people their own way.

58.51 men lives with all kinds of not so nice ppl in the world around him, not that that destroys your inside, but they sure do destroy your life because of for example jealousy or want to join your life. You end up with nothing that was dear to you and you start to think for what i did my best and learnt so many things and helped other ppl. Ppl with a normal job in a city and have a normal family to take care of doesnt have time to think in a spiritual way, they are happy to enjoy some life.

By the end of the century and into the new millennium: All In The Family, Married With Children, Seinfeld, Friends, Will and Grace, Family Matters, and The Good Witch(es).
