@readthesticky Also, about the Wikipedia comment...I'm interested to know how you believe that the integrity of a moderator regulated site can be compromised because of the fact that it can be edited by anyone.
If something has no citation or cannot be proved, it is removed or edited to be more pertinent and the citation is found and linked. It is just as reliable as any other source.

@readthesticky First off, try not to be such a condescending ass to people who are merely trying to be helpful.
Secondly, the whole debate could have been kept very short by remembering that Gouki's design/methods and whatever else are attributable to the Buddhist deity known as Nio. A being of wrath, vengeance and fury, despite being benevolent. Gouki will always be what he is, an anti-hero with a MAJOR chip on his shoulder who does all the wrong things for the (Sometimes) right reasons.

@TeamRocketJessie1 Semantics...Wikipedia entries are inherently unreliable because they can be written and edited anonymously by anyone. I admit that I sometimes will read a Wikipedia entry if I want background information about a topic, though I do not think that I would cite an entry as proof of anything. What Wiki says more than always lacks major components of detail. Replying to Cid and I with a Wiki excerpt is quite adorable, however you may save yourself the trouble of a history lesson.

I just realized this version sounds closer to the original CPS2 theme from Street Fighter 2...cool

@ElFreakinCid The Street Fighter Wiki says (it is a truly awesome article): "After coming back from his island, Akuma went back to Goutetsu, and fought and killed him with the Shun Goku Satsu. Akuma, believing that he was the true master of the Art, took the prayer beads of his dead master and placed it on his own neck. When Gouken went to visit his master to see how he was doing, he found his body lifeless and saw his younger brother (Akuma), no longer looking human."

He's not strictly a villain though, that's what I'm arguing. He's an antagonist who largely doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself and Ryu. He even leaves his opponents alive, and when he does kill, it's entirely by accident. And he even says often that the narrow, black and white concept of good and evil doesn't apply to him.
Shin no chikara misetemiyo!!!!!!!
