  • An iron monkey wouldnt have the first clue as to what he should do with most of a millwrigts tools. No, that starrett model 98 is not a beating stick iron monkey and dont use that micrometer as a c clamp.

  • @evanemac You will have a skill and thats something nobody can EVER take away from you. You can work all over North America w/ Siemens Generation services(I personally don't care for them) and you can make 70k-100k easy in northeast U.S. Even if you don't stay in the trade, you will always have that Journeyman's union book to fall back on!!! Contact your Local Union Millwright Hall !!!!!

  • @evanemac.........Hey, the anwser is simple, become a Millwright, welding is a big part of some of our work, but its so much more diversified than that, you will never be bored, thats for sure, the pay is always decent, but sometimes feels like a long haul before getting your journeyman ticket.

    But you will never look back with regret, i can guarantee you that

  • so okay anyone comment whoever can help...im canadian 1. 18 yrs old..debating between welding and millwright i love both pretty much equal ive done welding b4...but millwright seems really fun...i wanna make a good coin..i know wont get it right away but hoping 70k a yr?..is that even possible?..and would it be a good idea to become a vert millwright and than get welding tickets after? would i be looking toward a good raise that way? please write back
