This wouldn't work for my mother. Her legs can't move from the sitting position; even when she's lying down, her legs stay bent. I'm trying to find something that would help my mom to bathe, because we don't consistently have someone over who's strong enough to lift her, but it's difficult because we have such a small bathroom and not much money. Life is hard, I guess.

To be precise... the shower buddy system was made after this a to b transfer system. It was back in 1996 that this mechanism was created. thats how you can patent this.

Whats so unique about this and how can you patent this? there are many company's that make a similar system (eagle slider) and a more advanced unit called Showerbuddy.
