Golden Sun: Dark Dawn - Dullahan

Final Optional Boss: Dullahan

Dullahan from The Lost Age is back, and he still holds the title of the hardest optional boss in Golden Sun series. This guy has a ton of HP very high defense value, and a number of devastating moves, which will bring you to your knees QUICKLY. Dullahan has much more dangerous and annoying attacks ready for you: Fulminating Edge, which inflicts up to 500 HP damage on one character and Dark Contact, that hits multiple characters and HEALS Dullahan at the same time... ;_; Oh and we all know what Djinn storms does... the most annoying move in the whole game, IMO, which totally buries all chances to withstand Dullahan's attacks any longer. =(

This is the end of my playthrough of Dark Dawn. Hope you enjoyed watching these videos as much as I enjoyed making them.

Amazing, I finally managed to defeat him today and it took 2 h! Maybe I should have used summons in the beginning rather than increasing the stats (~ lvl 56). Anyways - very well done!

I didn't want to summon rush or something, so I upped my party to level 52->62 and, after a long battle, I finally got him...with everyone alive <3

@TehD00de I don't consider summon rushing "cheating" I just think it's a disgraceful tactic. It is legitimate in that you're not manipulating the game and using glitches but it ruins the challenge...especially in this game where there is little to no challenge at all...they spoon feed you exp after the Grave Eclipse starts

I think lame is more like exploiting the overflow glitch in order to beat Emerald Weapon in Final Fantasy VII.

@TheEquilibriumGame Agreed! I played the original gameboy games! Those were the best! I'm only playing Dark Dawn for the sake of completing the series. (I waited for it long enough, so I might as well play it...)
