In 1973, French language Belgian broadcaster RTB went behind the scenes at the BBC in London. This footage is taken from the resulting programme, 'Spécial BBC'.

Midweek journalist Nicholas Harman explains in French he agrees the BBC is a paradise for journalism, although this is hampered by a lack of money and a certain fear of journalists to displease politicians close to the then upcoming renewal of the BBC charter in 1975.
