Great video EDBO23. I live in NE Louisiana and have been flintknapping for about two years, all I have to work with is citronelle gravel. It was frustrating at first, all the videos I found were people knapping big rocks. I learned a lot from those videos but sometimes it was hard to translate what I saw in the videos to the pieces of gravel I was working with. I still enjoy busting a piece of brown rock open to see what's inside. Thanks again, great video.

the rivers here in missouri are filled full of that stuff but i never thought it would flake. now i know what ill be doing this weekend. thanks for doing this video.

Nice video. I really like that material. It doesn't matter if its small. It has its own desirable qualities. Do you collect it yourself?

Yes, I lived in southern MS for a very long time. For many years it was all I had.
