I will try this recipe, inshaAllah (God Willing) on tuesday morning for Sehri (pre down meal) as it is Ramadan now.
I was thinking to make a gobi prantha.
I have made a cabbage prantha and also carrot prantha but in a different way, they taste good too.
Thanks May Allah guide you.

Aunty ji, do we need to add oil when making the dough? Because if not then wouldn't it be sticky? I know its a silly question but I'm Bengali and we usually make Luchi (Puri) which requires oil and Roti in which we don't require oil. And what about greasing the skillet beforehand? And is it okay if I don't use Ajwain? I don't have it, please tell it won't ruin the Parantha... I'm a big newbie Aunty, please help me to be good. :D

hi Manjulaaunty, I have tried your recipe few times everytime but when I roll paratha it becomes sticky. I do squeeze water out from gobi as you have mentioned and yet i can't roll the parathas. plz can you suggest what i can do to prevent this from happening? many thanks.

To make it easier to roll the balls, first roll them in dry whole-wheat flour.
Lightly press the ball on the sealed side and keep it on the topside when rolling. Roll the ball light handed in to 6 inch circles. To reduce the stickiness on the rolling pin or rolling surface, sprinkle dry whole-wheat flour on both side of the semi-rolled paratha.
