Chapter 23 Part 4

*They get into the car & Rachel tells Brian that she has to be home in an hour and a half, at the latest. They get to Big Boy and Sarah & Jake are already in a booth. They sit in couples with the boys on the outside of the booth. Rachel pulled out her phone while everyone was ordering their food. She sent 1 text message to 2 people, Sarah & Denise. It said: Brian asked me to be his girlfriend!!! I said yes!!! YAY! She put her phone away and ordered her food, seeing Sarah checking her phone out of the corner of her eye. Rachel turned to Sarah as she looked up. Sarahs look seemed to say really?. Rachel wordlessly nodded her head yes and a huge smile broke out on Sarahs face, she texted back: AHHH!!!! Im so happy for you!!!! *

Brian: We are going to the salad bar, are you coming?
Rachel: Ill be there in a few minutes, I need to use the restroom.
Sarah: Me too!!! *Rachel laughs*
Brian:*smiles* Okay.

*Brian & Jake get up and go to the salad bar as Rachel & Sarah head to the bathroom. As soon as the door closed behind them, Sarah jumped on Rachel, hugging her tightly.*

Sarah: AHHH!!! OH MY GOD!!!!
Rachel: Shhhh.we are in a public bathroom & I kind of need to breathe.
Sarah:*letting go* Oops, sorry. *pause* Sohow did he do it?!?!
Rachel:*laughs at her friends eagerness* During the King & Queen dance he lead me out to the courtyard to dance. While we were dancing he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes, then he gave me this necklace*shows Sarah the necklace*
Sarah: Its beautiful.
Rachel:*smiles* I know. Then..we kissed.
Sarah: oh my god.
Rachel:*quietly, smile on her face* It was perfect.
Sarah: We have to back out there.
Rachel: Come on. *grabs her hand and pulls her to the salad bar to join the boys*

*Meanwhile w/ the Jonas; Denise gets Rachels text, they are in the car*

Denise: Oh.my.goodness!! *smiles really big*
Kevin: What? What happened?
Denise: Rachel just texted me.
Nick: And? Why did that warrant an *imitating his mom girly voice* Oh.my. goodness!! ?
Joe:*laughs*
Denise: Nicholas.
Nick:*under his breath* crap!
Denise: ..shut up. Rachel texted me and said that Brian asked her to be his girlfriend. And she said yes. So dont be a smart aleck.
Kevin:*whispers to Nick* PONED!by mom.
Nick:*punches Kevins arm*
Paul: Boys stop it.
Nick & Kevin:*unison* Sorry dad.
Frankie: Does that mean they are going to kiss?
Paul: Who?
Frankie: Rachel & Brian.if they are boyfriend and girlfriend, will they kiss?
Denise: Probably, yes.
Frankie: Ewwww! *everyone laughs* Will she still be my best friend?
Denise: Oh, honey..Im sure she will, but you can ask her when she gets home.
Frankie: Okay.

*Throughout this scene no one seemed to notice that Joe had not said a word since he had heard the news. He didnt even hear them talking, he was deep in thought.* [AN. Im not telling you what he is thinking, ha Im evil. Youll find out latermaybe. : P]

*With Jarah(Sarah & Jake) & Raian(Rachel & Brian).They ate their food. Talking, joking around, & generally having a good time.*

Brian:*looks at his watch* Oh, its almost 11pm, we should get going.
Rachel: Okay. *they pay the bill and go to the parking lot*
Sarah:*standing w/ Rachel in between their boyfriends cars* So are you at Nicks still?
Rachel: Yeah just for tonight. My mom & Jess come back tomorrow night I think.
Sarah: Alright, Ill call you tomorrow.
Rachel: Alright, bye. *hugs her* Drive safely you guys.
Jake: You too, bye. [AN. Just realized, thats the first time hes said anything, lol.]
Brian: Bye.
