A Voice ( Neda) arose from the earth, crying,
Shouting, " Oh God, do you not hear the voice of Iran ? The roar of Lions? The moaning of the Ancient Iran ? Iran ?"
 
Oh  Sky. Let it rain. Let it rain... Let it rain that blood that is dripping down from the eyes of our compatriots.
O God,  look at these trampled flowers, these blood soaked eyes, these hearts which are shattered.

O Sky. Let it rain. Let it rain... Let it wash off the dust of sorrow from the face of our country, 
Our Mother-land is in ruin because of  sorrow and sadness.

ندائی از زمین بر خاست ، زد فریاد زد فریاد، زد فریاد، فریاد :
خداوندا به گوشد می رسد آیا ندای مردم ایران ، ندای غرش شیران ، ندای ناله پیران ؟
ایران ، ایران
ببار ای آسمان باران ، ببار ای آسمان باران ،
خداوندا نگاهی کن به این گلهای پر پر گشته ، این چشمان به خون آغشته ، این دلها که شد ویران

بشوی از چهره میهن غبار غم ، که ویران گشته میهن با غم و ماتم ،

If all Iraninan Singers have the same guts and courage as you have, it will be a success for our society

I don't know how Shakila and Mastan Ensemble succeeded to do this fine work. Because although a highly accomplished ensemble, the type of orchestration and musical expressions in this video are completely different from what we' have heard from Mastan Ensemble.

The decisive choice of heartbreaking scenery combined with lyrics is indeed very moving, and depicts one of darkest periods in Iran's long history.

My best regards to all of those who produced this fine piece of music.
