Joe Holden, Inventor of the first afterburner for Jet Engines at Rolls Royce, applies his knowledge to Sustainable Energy. He shows us a Min Hydro Plant that uses his proprietary "Compression Tube" technology that can make a meter squared hydro plant to power 100 homes.

@haakondah Well I tell you what, energy can be harvested in many ways and this system, with the right calulations can be far more effective that any other system on the market. They put math to work and calculate water flow and adjust the units accordingly to match the output you require. The system is made to be ran off of many types of fuels and not just water, it is a better turbine then any on the market. They do all the work for you so no I personally have not done the math nor do I want to

@godlessevilfeeling You claim to have done extensive research. Great! I have only three questions, which you should be able to knock out without effort:
1) Do you believe that it is possible to get more energy out of a system than you put into it?
2) Have you calculated the amount of energy made available by lowering a unit of water by a unit of altitude?
3) Is any input other than a reservoir of water made to this system?
You let me know real soon now, you hear?

This is a very good unit and idea. I have researched this extensively and it is by far the best unit i have found. The only down side is that there is no way of finding a cost/price on this unit as you must contact the company and have them come out and see if it is even viable for the water or source you plan to use to power it and they will not give you a standard price of one unit. Other then that the unit is good and is basically common sense for energy production, research it first.

@haakondahl Lmfao, if any of yall had the brains to check into the accual turbine and research alittle into it you would not be making such dumbass comments. Yes you need running water for it just like any other turbine, but if you research it they will tell you that they need to calculate it and the flow is adjustable just as it is with any dam or other unit. This unit is able do much more then what you think, do your research before making a ass of yourself and knocking the technology.

The ONLY benefit dams provide is a continuous supply of water in areas of widely fluctuating seasonal rains - for drinking, irrigation and for power.

Not reading the comments, and not buying Mr. Holden's gizmo. Perhaps he is not what he used to be. This video shows me nothing but wants me to believe based on Holden's credentials. Wel I don't. Total input minus total output minus waste equals zero. I'm not buying that the input here is sufficient to do anything without being constrained to. If the water is not pressurized, then all it has given us is a 1-meter drop, which is paltry. 4x 4inch pipes at 1 bar and 1 meter is no way 100 KW.
