My first figure skating competition ever!

Hey everyone,here's the video off my first competition!
i had to compete against girls that jump axels and double salchows,wich wasn't really fair cause i can't do that!!also the time of the music had to be 1Min 30 sec's,and almost all the other girls had longer programs so they could do more jumps and spins...i ended up last place!!:( poor me,haha no i don't mind,i'm a bit dissapointed but after all i had much fun although i was nervous as hell!!haha

to bad i didn't land the loop loop combo and messed up my flip and camelspin!!

@love247skate1011 haha that's right!!i was way to nervous!!my god!if i think back on that comp!!lol,luckely it was just for fun!didn't know why i had so many stress!!oh well,i had just to many elements to do in such a short time i had to rush like crazy!:)

I really like your competition program! Although you were nervous, you looked graceful on ice ;) How is it possible that the others had longer programs? You were bronze or silver cathegory? I think you should start competing again after having a baby :)

u should compete keep trying i roller compete really no different i know its stressful but its fun so i encourage you to keep going

I forgot to mention that you did well for a first timer. Those girls who are doing doubles have probably been skating since they could walk, so cut yourself some slack. You had a very nice "Y" position, a good spread eagle (I can't even do one), and you didn't fall.

You should've been placed with other skaters of your age and ability. That being said, congrats on making it through your first competition. I'm an adult skater (30) and just started taking classes back in January, and have hopes to do my first ever competition this coming spring.
