Week 1 was a little difficult. Didn't get in the required fluid or protein, so Im working on that this following week. But besides that all is well. I have one more week to take my time and recover as well as get my eating schedule together.

Here is my creamy coffee protein shake recipe. 500 calories and 68g protein for 20oz. When I start eating my protein, I will be making half of this recipe, which will drastically cut down on the calories. Requested by LoseALotCareBear.

  • @shelskharma i tried it today, it was ok. i mixed it with water and french vanilla creamer..

  • I can totally relate with the beds... YIKES! I had major back pain and couldn't sleep well at all from the back pain. I went to the doc today (waited till I could fully lay on my stomach without any issues) and asked him for a prescription for massage to loosen up my back - because it's still tight... I am looking forward to when I can exercise again (in 2 weeks). :-)

  • @IamKris411 I've been trying to walk at least once a day, and I just started my wii fit(fun easy work outs), but im kind of craving the elliptical, so I can't wait to get the all clear from my doctor.

  • @devinamber1 in nov 08 i was 365lb, by the end of feb 09 i was 330lb. i went to the gym at least 4 times a week. on the weekends when i was prone to sit home and snack, i made protein shakes and ate lots of veggies. the ironic thing is i am a total health freak, i just have major trouble with portion control. so i cut out the snacking and started making my own healthy, non fried meals. it was hard bc i live at home with my mom who doesnt cook very healthy. so be determined and you can do it!!
