  • if there is going to be a "population demand" for more energy resources, why don't we just promote and encourage CONDOMS. Now that is a practical resource.

but i think i get the whole "work" force thing. more money for those who have money and less for those who need it.

  • yeah.... go green. Paint the world with moss. A nice earthy green moss.

  • Then why did Mayor Ravenstahl allow police to gas and beat up peaceful protesters if he didn't want violent dangerous bullshit?

  • But the cops have the right to block students in a stairwell and gas them

  • i love this city. i'm proud to be a western pennsylvanian!

  • they do not have a right to break the law and destroy personal property like they do at every g 20 summit. they set fires in seattle for goodness sake.

  • I've witnessed some of the protests in town specifically in the Oakland and Shadyside area. I would say the protesters are not violent and yet the authorities are arresting them.

What about their right for speech? Right to protest? Right to assemble?

Well, maybe that's one thing they should discuss during the G-20 even if it is not in relation to the economy. =)

  • pittsburgh totally allowing protests, just not gonna put up w/ violent dangerous bullcrap!

    i love pittsburgh!

  • provocateurs incoming!

  • Pittsburgh, PA: HAPPENING!

Systematic police harassment of Seeds of Peace and Everybody's Kitchen, and others will have consequences. The ACLU, and me!

Give the Pittsburgh Police a jingle. Tell 'em to allow people the right to peaceably assemble. Tell 'em I sent ya!
