Hello Folks!
This is a simple instructional video for the world that shows how one takes off those stupid exhaust hangers... It's a rather cheap way to do this without having to go buy speciality tools.
I did this on a 2000 Toyota Celica GT. But most exhaust systems that have rubber hangers have the same basic concept. :)
Enjoy!
I seriously appreciate this video man.

While it is true that hanger pliers do the job just fine. This video was intended to show others how to do it without possibly buying another tool. But thank you for your comment. :)

The WD-40 is a great idea. But instead of fighting the hanger off buy using channel locks in the hole and pulling, after adjusting the opening of the jaws to fit around the back side and front side of the rubber hanger, I placed the top jaw on the end of the stem (or at the nub) and placed the lower jaw on the back side of the rubber hanger. Then I simply squeezed and pried forward on the rubber hanger and it sliped right off the stem with no issues and no fighting at all. Thanks for the video.
