@apple22guess I think Asians like to get double eyelid surgery because asians think bigger eyes are prettier. White people like to have surgery on their breasts because they think bigger breasts are sexier and better looking. Persians like to have nose surgery because their noses are naturally bigger. Each culture likes different thing, so I don't think it is only asians who like to have plastic surgery.

@JegVeg I don't know if you have ever traveled to asian countries. But most of the girls there do NOT have makeup on. I actually find that many young girls/women in North America or Europea put more makeup on than those in Asian countries. I think this tutorial is simply to teach girls how to achieve the look if the girl is interested in looking more doll like. But that doesn't mean every asian girls do their makeup just like the one in the tutorial.

To be honest, even if you copy this look step by step, you won't achieve the same exact look. Alot of it especially in the beginning on the magazine, you can clearly see it is photoshopped, so much that the model's nose is unclear.
