  • Nobody even questions why Gloria Estevan suddenly shows up, no one even acts remotely surprised to see her, they automatically start a block party, the song ends, and it was like she was never even there! :D

  • @BigT8943 Doing the conga?

  • @Wheeloffortunefan999 I think the song came out around '85 but I'm not 100% sure.

  • Dancing in a conga line with Gloria Estefan... Louis and Maria are living one of my ultimate fantasies :)

  • couldnt u imajin a parasaurolofus doing that dance?

  • Those gold shorts have been in my head for so many years.

  • @9ansean No, it was only 6 eps, but it was a hilarious parody of anime. You should check it out.

You're welcome, glad I could help.

  • @colleen4ever Ah, than the first connection I saw was the right one! I wasn't sure since this show clearly didn't last long. Thanks for the feedback, although I think this plot transition from a) ordinary day to b) someting wild happening to c) ordinary day may go back at least as far as Dr. Seuss. It's a little bit spooky, but still fun. Again, thanks for clearing that up

  • @9ansean FLCL is short for Fooly Cooly. It was a hilarious 6 episode anime parody that aired on Adult Swim. It was totally crazy and made no frickin sense, but that was the point! The point was that you can look at it and spot all the anime pariodies.

The opening lines of Fooly Cooly, "Nothing ever happens here. Just an ordinary day." Then the first ep happens where a weird alien girl lands with her motorbike...crazy starts happening, and the line is said at the end, "Just an ordinary day."

  • @colleen4ever Would you mind explaining what FLCL stands for? I looked it up and got mostly some short lived anime show from around 2000. The theme as the scene does seem fimiliar though.
