Congratulations and thank you to Nathan for having the courage and strength to bring this issue forward.
Comments/attitudes like Tom's are never excusable and it is shameful his hurtfull comments are being forgiven and forgotten.
Such comments further isolate and harm glbtt people.
Tom and the CONServatives have done nothing to stop violence and bullying directed towards glbtt people.

It's interesting and enlightening to know that there are morals in our "Conservative" society. I refer to the comments on this page, not the speakers on the video!

crew101 i think you should take some religious studies courses before you make such a bold statement as to "not a single religion that says its ok to be gay"
I know plenty of religions that promote love and are not against homosexuality. There is also a lot of religions that dont believe in hell. So your threat becomes very empty and pretty uneducated.
But thank you for your comment. It's people like you that made this press confrence such an important one.

Weather its Christianity, Islam, Judaism or any other religion, homosexuality is not authorized in any relgion.
There is not a single religion that says its okay to be gay or lesbian, therefor all homosexuals can go to hell.
