Wow!! That's crazy that the waitress could remember that. She's almost like that woman in that new show "Unforgettable" (or something like that).

That sweater is awesome!! I'm getting used to using double pointed needles, but they're still like knitting with a porcupine to me. I did make a cute sock monkey cup cozy for a friend of mine.

My tree is standing naked for 2 days now waiting on my hubby to take it down and put it in the attic, because i wouldnt go in there for sure, lol.

@longcara Husbands can take forever to do things we need them to do sometimes, it seems.. :(( Hope you get it put away soon.. I did the house decorations today and will tackle the tree tomorrow! :))

Waitresses like that are a rare commodity now days. Ones that actually remember and appreciate a customer. That sweater is TOO cool!! I have no patience for knitting at all, LOL!! I appreciate a hand knit sweater though cuz of all the time that goes into them. Love me some sauerkraut too!!

@croutoncrackerjacks I am still amazed at that waitress! I checked and it had been a little over a month that we had been in there.. Still can't believe she remembered our order!  I never liked to knit either and always crocheted because I thought it went faster but there are some things that just look nicer if they are knit, ya know? LOL I love pork and sauerkraut! I actually had a good dinner there this time!! :))

@yoyomax12 I guess I am going to have to start doing swatches to check my gauge.. I didn't realize that the type yarn you use, even if it is the right weight, can make a big difference in the size it turns out to be. I am still amazed at that waitress! Wow..

@popparoc46 Well, I took the decorations down today but still have the tree to do tomorrow.. It seems like a lot more work to take it down and put it away than it did to put it all up. Yes, it did make me feel good that she remembered us! We are memorable people! haha We can't believe that we made it to the playoffs, and we WON today! Woo Hoo! So exciting! Thank you for supporting us! :))

@Jinxie228 I put all the house decorations away today but haven't gotten to the tree yet. That is on tomorrow's list! My dad doesn't mind going anywhere with me.. He loves just getting out and going for a ride in the car and having new and different things to look at and see! LOL We won the game!! Woo Hoo!!
