Former BBC Top Gear and Wheeler Dealer director Jamie Langton is one of hundreds of journalists from around the world who witness the end of production of the worlds favourite small car. The following is a special feature highlight from Jamie Langton's new classic car DVD, Mini The Legend. On 4th October 2000 after 40 years of non stop production, it was time to call it a day for the little car with several 'last of the line' Mini Cooper 500s poised to roll out forever on the production line. As the track started to roll out the last cars, 60s pop star Lulu sat behind the wheel of the very last example out to the awaiting press.
