Two Different Bone Dances inspired by Hannah Montana, for Ms. B's Bio 2 Class
Lyrics Part 1:
Cranium, Mandible, Clavicle Yo.
Everybody turn around drop your scapula low.
Bring it up high, let your sternum fly.
Chorus:
Bones, bones, we got 206
watch this dance and we'll show you how it clicks.
You got 24 ribs, keep your lungs intact.
24 vertebrae running down your back.
Cervical, thoracic, lumbar too.
7, 12, 5, and we'll show them all to you.
Chorus
Sacrum, Coccyx, joins the chain.
next comes the pelvic bone which does contain.
the ischium, illium, pubis.
our claim to fame.
chorus. WORD
Lyrics Part 2:
There's lots of bones inside of me
We'll start with the phalanges
the metacarpals is next,
the carpals put us to the test.
you don't want to be dumb
the radius attaches to the thumb
Move a little to the right,
you'll see the ulna with delight
the humerus, further up the arm,
it makes you laugh, thats the charm.
Do you want to learn some more,
now lets take it to the floor.
the femur is the longest bone,
its longer than an ice cream cone.
the patella sits upon the knee,
it helps me dance, it gives me glee.
the tibia is further down,
the fibula i get around.
the tarsals are towards the end,
the metatarsals are their friends
There's lots of bones inside of me,
we'll end with the phalanges!
