@macq1 Thanks. I now have 2011 which a number of the bugs have been worked out, but the software is still too buggie and complicated. I do fine with it now, but I see where there needs to be a LOT of improvement. This design software is just poorly written.

@Kmangod It can be pretty cumbersome to use in past versions. 2011 and now 12 are much better. It can be much easier in general with some good training though. We offer web based Civil 3D training that really cuts through most peoples challenges. It is a very powerful tool that can actually make design easier, but you need to know the clicks

This Civil 3D is one of the buggiest and most unfriendly pieces of software I've ever worked with. Land Desktop was so much simpler for small improvement projects. You need to be a computer programmer just to figure out how far a command is buried. It's pretty crazy. If you want daily crashes and daily headaches, this is the program for you.
