As I watch Shawn's story I cannot help but think of that disclaimer on the header of InvisiblePeople.tv. Shawn is homeless in Denver. He uses 'colorful' language that may offend some people. He is also high on heroin, and that may upset a few more.

What you need to see is a hurting young man who has grown up on the streets. Shawn has lived a hard life. Both parents were heavy drugs users so Shawn was placed in a group home at 12. He went back to his mother around 16, yet she continued to use drugs so Shawn hit the streets.

Shawn tells a very real story of life on the streets, and how the breakdown of family causes so much destruction.

I hope Shawn's story did make you mad, mad enough to fight homelessness.

wow, his parents complety screwed his life up, i hate parents who cant look after their children and end up ruining their childrens lives!...

He sems like a decent guy that just wants things to go well, i hope the best for him!

wow so heart breaking.. i really hope he gets the help he needs..tragic how messed up his famliy was and how the donimo affect works... so sad. i hope he does live with some peace at some point instead of struggling like this.. he is not so invisable now is he? thankyou for doing this and giving these poor people some dignity.. i live in toronto..and there are so many homeless there and people just walk by them like young and king.. rich area.people are selfish and cold sometimes.
