I met them once too in 1987 (as a teenager) -we got into the BBC+ hung around the Top of the Pops studios + led the security men a merry dance by hiding in the dressing rooms & showers until they threw us out! Brilliant memories... Marti is The Voice. I am so glad he came back from the brink - not many do...

Why do I know this footage so well - is this a Princes Trust gig? I think I was there as I went to all their shows in the 80s/90s + even later one @ Battersea Power Station in 1995 when I was 6 months pregnant!

Wets were good. Marti Pellow though thought he was God. What an effing poser he is. I've gotta suffer him, in concert in June cos PURE, REAL quality is on the bill (George Benson) in Manchester come June. this year. My wife likes Marti, but you'll NEVER change my opinion; Good singer? Yes.
