This sequence puts the reprehensible new star wars films in their place, the camera in this bit is so chaotic and its intriguing perspectives on the action kicks the episode 3 opening squarely in the nuts. I love real Star Wars but those pecies of shit were criminal.

We didn't see shield impacts in TUC either, but we definitely saw the the effect of them going down when a torpedo shot straight through the saucer as opposed to simply scorching it. Seems 23rd century shields weren't quite as good at preventing a projectile from penetrating and had to make do with detonating them short of actually hitting the hull.
