  • mplawner this is the real delhi mate......alas, some fools wont understand your purpose of uploading this video and choosing this very location, for they are too much into negativity and inferiority complex that even a positive deed or remark would worry them

  • @tawheed4salaf Thanks!

  • my friend i dont understand with white people we give you full respect but what you lot do you take advantage of our respect why dont you go to posh areas why you always go to old and dirty areas you got shit areas in england wich is bad then this we never put any video of it and if you dont like india then why bother going there for i dont understand i hope one day you lot will understand what is humans

  • @rozeraseel1 I'm sorry you feel that way. This video, and other of the photographs I have taken in India are likely the focus of peoples interest because it is unique and different to the everyday experiences of those viewing it.

It has been years since I've been to Chandni Chowk, but just the other day I was discussing with my wife how much I enjoyed being there and in India and hoped I can take her one day.

  • Great video mate! How safe is it there? Did you do much shopping or trading?

  • @saulnz Was great! Haven't been back in a while, but I miss it. People (unlike some of those commenting on the video) are warm and helpful. I always felt safe, but, as a foreigner in any land, you can never properly read the security situation around you.

  • Abhi-ji,

I concede that I should have written "Delhi," or "Old Delhi," since New Delhi is actually south of this part of the city.

However, you are mistaken about my lineage; my parents were married when I was born, and, I'm sure you'll be happy to know, still married today.

I guess we've both learned that we should be more accurate in reporting information.

Thank you for your corrections and regards

  • Thanks for posting this video. And to my Indian friends, I being an Indian want these areas to be presented on world stage. We can fix the things only if we know that they exist. Ignoring the issues won't solve the them.

  • EVEN I LIVE IN DELHI AND YES SOME PARTS ARE DIRTY BUT STILL DELHI IS AN AMAZING CITY WITH LOT OF ACTIVE STUFF TO DO ....you can like it or hate it but u cant ignore it !

  • @mplawner MY FRIEND IF YOU LIKE INDIA THEN PLEASE NEXT TIME WHEN MAKE VIDEO THEN PLEASE GO TO AREAS LIKE DEFENCE COLONY ,CONNAUGHT PLACE,DWARKA,MODEL TOWN,GREEN PARK,SOUTH DELHI,CHANKYAPURI,ETC . THESE ARE THE AREAS WHERE YOU CANT EVEN LIVE VERY EXPENSIVE EVEN YOU CAN LIVE THERE SO WHY GO TO THE SLUMS AND MAKE VIDEOS AND PUT IT ON YOUTUBE GO TO THESE AREAS AND THEN PUT VIDEO THEN PEOPLE KNOW WHAT IS OUR INCREDIBLE INDIA

  • I lost my passport here.

    That was a fun day.

  • @mplawner This is interesting. From what I had read in "City Of Joy" by Dominique LaPierre, I always thought only the city of Calcutta still used rickshaws probably even today in the 21st Century. They're used everywhere in India?? Wow! I sure got educated tonight!
