Keen boot spotters will have noticed Lionel Messi wearing a brand new adidas F50i football boots colourway - and here they are, the White/Navy/Gold Messi football boots.

Lionel Messi is one of the best footballers in the world, and fully deserves his own boot range. These special release football boots feature a few significant enhancements and cosmetic changes to the regular F50i. And, although Messi himself may choose to wear a customised F30i on pitch, the global F50i superstar does favour the leather upper.

The upper of the F50i Messi is crafted from kangaroo leather which makes it soft, supple and highly flexible. And the leather has unique stitching patterns, which along with adding to the aesthetics of the boot, maintain the leathers performance and durability by holding its shape. The raised stitching on the instep hints at Predator-style vamps, with a bold red "i" the only interruption on an otherwise clean instep.

This classy new adidas F50i colourway is available in the TUNiT component system, which aims to provide players with the complete season round, any condition set up. Existing F50 players can benefit from snapping up the new upper, as it is interchangeable with their existing chassis and insole to suit their game and style.

The White/Navy/Gold football boots are the second Lionel Messi adidas F50i boot, and once again feature his symbol on the lace cover, although in a more subtle white shade. The symbol is inspired from the flag of Argentina and Leo Messi's home town of Rosario (the town where the country's flag was founded), featuring the Sun in it's design, a homage to the Argentina flag but also "a reference to Leo's playing style: Just as the Sun gives light to the World, Leo's playing style lights up entire stadiums worldwide"!

Specific to Lionel Messi's boots, the Alles-Klar section of the heel and soleplate is not as transparent as on other F50i's, as it is more smokey and frosted with a soft gold colouring disguising the chassis choice. The heel counter has been made more dense to add to the support and stability of the boots, and for style the three adidas stripes wrap around the heel and onto the Alles-Klar sole.

The White/Navy/Gold adidas F50i Messi football boots are a really classy looking colourway, befitting of a player of Messi's skill and ability. Available to pre-order from 9th December the boots are expected to hit the shelves on 7th January, and you can currently pick up the complete Comfort Pack for around £125 GBP, with selected retailers offering the upper only for around £60 GBP.

  • i love this shoos

  • If anyone wants to know

    I have these exact cleats

    the leather is very nice

    they r durable

    they are comfortable

and if u tighten the studs u wont lose them

    they r sexy

  • @fifatennisman Agreed...

    Have you tried them yourself?

I feel like alot of people sacrifice comfort and safety for looks. Reading alot about them online, seems like people favor the Leather for just that reason

  • @chivaron16 yea but the sprint skins perform like shit...

I just returned them and got the leathers....much better

  • @fifatennisman you're out of your mind!! (jk)

the sprint skins shift like crazy on your foot and roll on sharp cuts...I just returned mine and got the leathers....so much better.

The synthetic's look sick, but they give you blisters and are unstable

    Leathers>sprint skin
