After returning home to his ancestral land in the Hokianga Will Stensness witnessed the wide spread pollution of the Whirinaki River and the Hokianga harbour. For many years Will has and still is battling to clean up both the river and the harbour.

Hiya Janice so nice to hear from you. yep mate still going hard out here i head of to court on 2nd feb for blocking the sewage from the hospital entering the harbour i even got jail for it im a real bad man not wanting people to be subject to swimming and eating the shellfish that is being feed out of this sewage ponds that have never worked
