Author and Climate organizer, Bill McKibben, addresses the Annual Business Conference of the Kelley School of Business on March 11, 2009.
McKibben is excerpted in this video telling Indiana's assembled business executives the threat that climate change will bring to their lives and business if not checked in the near term.
McKibben authored the book, The End Of Nature and has since become an outspoken organizer on global warming and climate change through his organization, www.350.org which refers to the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere that needs to be reached if we are to get a handle on the crisis. Currently the atmospheric concentration of the gas is 387 parts per million and rising about 2 parts per million each year.
Indiana is currently heavily dependent on coal for over 97% of its electrical generation.
