World Food Day 2009 Video Feature (in English)

Food insecurity in around 30 countries is severe enough to warrant emergency assistance. But if we are to achieve the goal of achieving food security in times of crisis, development efforts must go beyond coping with todays problems by addressing the challenges of the future. This short video illustrates how in Afghanistan, and throughout the developing world, sustained investment is the only way to shockproof the agriculture sector against future crises.
