Pier Fishing Trip - San Francisco Municipal Pier

Fished this place a while back and got one big bite but essentially got skunked. This trip however I was able to reel in two pretty good size crabs. I don't know what type they are, what the size regulations are, or if they are even edible. Awesome weather for January though :)

@squinja7000 bat rays, leopard sharks, striped bass. At that location, with that much bait on 1 hook, your just feeding the crabs. Hopefully youll get a bite with the remnants

Ok. Thanks. However, what time do you suggest I go? Mornings, afternoonish, or dusk*. Seasons and tides would be helpful too.

*night time is risky unless you're with a group of fisherman, as such, where as, ya know, umm, like as, Iraq on a map, and the children, such as, umm, don't afford maps, ummm...

Dude, I was not hacking at you. Occasionally I think I'm funny, but apparently I sometimes jabber to long and veer off into the unknown. I'll give the pier another shot in the future... with a smaller portion of fish grub.
