  • Can i use my cdj 200 with djm 900 mixer and time code ?

Im bit confused here , my cdj 200 is connected to the mixer

    with only rca cable ?

  • @djhimmu > Yes, you connect it with RCAs from your CDJs to the mixer, the mixer is connected by USB to the computer and set-up as per the video.

  • @DeejayPulse Thank you , So with Djm 900 i dont need to take digital out from my cdj 200 ? only connecting the rca from my cdj 200 to my djm 900 wil work ? What ever track i have it in the traktor decks , ill be able to control it with my cdj 200 by just connecting it with rca cable ?

  • @djhimmu > You could certainly use the digital output, either way, it doesn't matter.

  • Hi need help im looking at buying tractor to use with my pioneer DJM 900 nexus I want to use it with timecode can I buy the tractor pro 2 software and use timecode or do i have to buy trackter scratch pro 2. is there any difference in the software or is it just the scratch pro 2 comes with the interface and the timecode vinyl and cd? i know there is no need for the audio 10 sound card with the pioneer DJM 900 nexus so can I just buy tractor pro 2?

  • @thetechguy4711 > You'd have to get Traktor Scratch Pro 2 if you want to use the timecode. You don't need the interface if you plan on using the DJM900nexus as the mixer is Traktor certified. If you already have CDJs and simply wanted to use them as controllers without the timecode, you don't need the Scratch version of the software.

So with djm 900 mixer and cdj 200 jus connect witt rca cable to djm 900 ill be able to cue and play songs dropped in my Traktor software from my cdj 200. Gr8

  • @mrhallay86 > Did you follow the instructions in the video? How far did you get before you had problems?

  • hi there...i have a problem right here...i'm using CDJ 900 and DJM 900 , i use time code digital but it doesn't work, i use tractor pro for s4 , can i ? or is there any setting for this ? please help....

  • @wolflahmann > You could set it up as a MIDI controller, but why would you? The hardware mixer is superior to the software mixing of the internal mixer. You CAN record to the software even if using the mixer as an audio mixer (external mode)!
