what i don't get is what is the hype for 4g? yes 4g is amazingly fast but for the majority of the people around the country who buy an Lte phone will be using 3g still and if the data plan rumors are true about the data cap being 5g for $50 we will all be suffering because over 80% of the country will be using 3g and paying for 4g data plans!?!?!?!?!?

I live in the third world city Norfolkistan. Our old Verizon DSL aging copper lines have been failing for years. The terminal blocks have rusted out & lots of patched connections have been put in place to keep our limping service up. Our service has been so noisy that you can't hear callers nor the messages left. Verizon's solution was to string a line through the neighborhood on the ground & over fences. Free cafe wireless internet saved us. We pay for this?

It's funny how these corporate mooks try to ram this bullshit we don't need down our throats. Just like the rest of the gadgets, it won't work well for the first 6 months, and then drop in price within the year, making those douchecanoes that dished out the money feeling pretty suicidal.
