  • I got this router, can you explain why some of the lan LEDs are orange not solid green?

    LAN leds (orange or green) normally blinks during activities.

    Orange? It could be your network adapter's speed.

    10/ 100Mbps = Orange.

    10/ 100/ 1000Mbps = Green.

    Your cousin must be using a DSL Modem then hook it up to his wndr4000.

    Cable Modem = connected via Cable.

    DSL Modem = connected via Phone line.
