I would have the estate version, but the rear door is on THE WRONG SIDE for UK markets! It would mean parking on the wrong side of the road. Why not put a rear door in both sides.

I heard the base Clubman had pretty strong acceleration. I guess it's a mixed bowl.

I'm American... and I want the Mini Cooper. I prefer handling over speed. I also enjoy A sporty feel with Luxury features ( Which is thanks to BMW ) and that it has enough horsepower to beat Ricers ( John Cooper Works )and has a unique style to it.
and that's what the Mini Cooper is.
