We need small, efficient government as larger governments end up costing us more and create more red tape bureaucracy. We need to make the country more attractive to investors. We can do it by having a large, cost efficient workforce with attractive work ethics. We need to seek long term loans from our oil rich friends with no strings attached. They are looking to invest their hundreds of billions, and all of that ends up going into the US economy, which I no longer have any faith in.

turjo101 is right, we need to decentralize the national government a bit more and strengthen local governments because national governments don't have time for the local cow seller and to help him with his problems

@turjo101: you are absolutely right, we need to change our culture and mentality. We actually need to stop the BS with women suppression in the rural areas. YES women can handle money and YES they are capable of doign more than just sitting home, cooking, and used for sex and to bore kids. I'm a patriotic Bangladeshi but I'm tired of the emotional BS Bangladeshis show when it comes to anti-Bangladesh criticism.

We also have to make changes to our culture, mentality and ethics. We call ourselves patriots yet constantly criticize every aspect of our nation. We must make an overhaul of our media censoring out anything that may cause anti-Bangladeshi sentiments. No one should be allowed to criticize the country unless its constructive and carries a solution to a problem. We must develop a mentality that after our respective religions, OUR COUNTRY AND OUR COUNTRYMEN ARE ABOVE ALL.

We must have more engineering, technological programs in our Universities. Increase funding in domestic innovative projects that would yield cheaper and more efficient construction techniques, techniques for steal processing, river dredging, levee building, mass water purification, increase electricity output by 400-500%, have a complete infrastructure overhaul, to make all parts of the country accessible. We can do it when we develop cheaper more efficient construction methods

we need to increase productivity in our country. Introduce new technology regardless of the cost...begin rapid training of our workforce to increase productivity. Adopt the Japanese work ethics that they had after WWII. Start a new education system that seeks to have atleast 5% of the population in post-secondary studies and 100% literacy within 10 years. Sounds impossible?!? well if North Korea can afford to have 99% literacy so can we.

while we're at it, lets scrap the bickering among each other as to who made the country more hellish. Lets stop dwelling in the past as to who did what...they all fucked the country in the ass...lets hang all of them, sure we'll have a few good ones caught up in this, but they are guilty of failing to stop these bastards from ruining my country. Bangladesh has become an embarrassment in world stage...NO more, those who embarrassed the Bengali people must hang..NOW..Lets start the NEW BANGLADESH

Bangladesh as a nation needs to reboot. We need to start off fresh. We cant have the old players in this new game. I'd have them all dragged to the streets, shot and hung as a demonstration for the future generation..that you dont fuck with this country..you dont fuck with this people. We have been tolerant of these old school politicians for too long. We need new Leadership...NEW...no more of old policies, no more old way of running things...lets start the NEW BANGLADESH!!!
