Volunteers flocked to Lake Travis on Sunday for the 15th Annual Lake Travis Underwater and Shoreline Cleanup. Because of low lake levels, divers and shoreline volunteers were able to clean areas of the lake they havent been able to reach before and retrieved items that have been in the lake for decades. Items recovered included a V8 engine block and several car batteries that were used as anchors, car tires, spent shotgun shells, a lawn chair, old barrels previously used as pontoons used for docks, and many glass bottles and tin cans.
