@Kenshiro3rd I can see what you're getting at, Keiji Inafune said the biggist influence for the Megaman series was music, perhaps while working with the music directer he ask him to use a sample from Tekkman Blade's 2ed opening for the stage select theme for Megaman X. many game develpopers use easter egg tactics in their games all the time.
