@Carl4laffs JD Power gives extra points for the radio being easy to use. You could consider that a quality thing if you want, for me I'll just go by consumer reports. I hear Ford is finally getting some cars rated better. For me, I'll never support the UAW.

with enough money JD powers will endorse any brand. I still don't believe it.

A guy I know just posted on another site that he had a 1984 Pontiac 6000 that he put 275,000 miles on. Then, he gave it to his brother who put another 54,000 miles on it. The guy now has 254,000 miles on a Pontiac Grand Am. Those Pontiacs last forever!

LOL xD that would be awesome if cars could survive after being kicked off a cliff :)

Cash for clunkers got folks to get rid of some of those rides.

For years the US auto companies have been building junk cars. While we (U.S) were working on more bling, stereos and adding chrome, the Japanese were perfecting hybrid technology. I feel sorry for the US workers I have zero sympathy for the auto industry as a whole. Buy what you want. I'd rather spend the extra $ on my family than on car repair for poorly built and designed cars.

JD Power just reported that Buick tied with Jaguar for 1st place as most reliable car brand. Junk no more, buddy!

No kidding. American cars do last forever. I kept a Thunderbird for more than 12 years. Put more than 200,000 miles on it, and I didn't even change the oil for the first 60,000 miles!
