http://earlesairports.com At 27,650 ft (8,428 m), the landing area seems to be an artifact of Google Earth and does not really exist on Lhotse. The altitude is too high for a normal takeoff and the F-16 slides down the east side of Lhotse to a glacier where it can take off.
