  • I want one so bad

  • buy one and youll see for sure!

  • @jmlon99 This is the funniest thing i've ever heard. Please tell me more! There is no such thing as a "marine" motor. It Is however a crappy 2 pole 540xl motor. Tell me, what part of the motor is different that will allow it to not brake properly. The windings? Rotor? Magnets? Bearings? Please, tell me more!

Also, FYI, in general the motor in a FE boat draw MUCH more current that any land based vehicle. Motors aren't "set up". They're built. Different winding styles, kv, bearings etc..

  • @ryanrummler Dude, it wont work just fine. Try it and find out for yourself. I know the ESC controls the braking, but the motor is what actually does the braking. It is acheived by sending current to the motor in both directions at the same time to get it to stop. The traxxas 540xl brushless motor isnt set up to do that because it is a marine motor meant to be connected to a prop in the water not tires on the ground like the velineon 3500 brushless motor is. Thanks.

  • @ryanrummler Ya Dude, Braking is controlled by the ESC. But the actual braking is current sent to the motor in both directins from the ESC, Thus causing a braking action. It is the motor that actually is the brake. The Traxxas 540XL brushless motor isn't like the Velineon 3500 motor. It isnt set up to handle braking current because it is a marine motor meant to be connected to a propeller in the water, not wheels on the ground. Thanks.

  • @bigkubi

    false advertising.
