@WildManChrisVEVO If you believe that the only reason we think that food nourishes and keeps us alive is based on faith, then you're saying that the opinion of a man who decides to stop feeding his child because he has faith a child can survive without food, is just as vaild as that of someone who wants to feed the child.

Kat, I find theists are in the habit of flinging around the term "miracle" fairly freely. They claim miracles are proof of God, but then include under this category, the most ordinary events. I believe people do this largely to validate their own beliefs, but this is also putting the bar pretty low for God, isn't it? Per your example, an all-powerful God should have no problem regrowing the amputated limb of one of his devout servants after sufficient prayer. Yet it NEVER happens.
