Since TDKR is coming out this summer i decided to try out a stop motion.

Also crosshairs001 came up with the epic Gordon monologue at the end.

  • Part 2. Don't use the fog effect every time. If you want to make scenes harder to see then make a thick fog to cover the entire screen. This thick fog should be see-able as well. In order to do that, I suggest you change the alpha of the fog to a very low number. It has to be less than 50%. Another problem I had was the fire explosions. If a fire is on the screen then some sort of lighting should make it feel like it isn't an effect. The story seemed to have some problems too. To be continued...

  • @BionTimeWorks Wait hold on One question. have you every made a lego batman stopmotion? or any stop motion for that matter? Have yo ever tried to put together a lego batman video with a few minifigures, two white boxes as buildings, a green screen and sony vegas? I'm open to constructive criticism but I'm not open to nitpicking. Also This is a 6 min video about lego. I'm not trying to make a deep story that has many twist and turns.

  • The weird thing is some of you are complaining that its blue and dark but seriously batman's not suppose to be bright colored. Its suppose to be dark and atmospherics.

  • That was actually pretty good. Nice job.

  • @daniel3cb 720p makes the image way more clear and visible. and right after that i told you but we can still talk on facebook and skype. then like a min later you remove me off everything.

  • @legoindyshortround yeah just try tuning the brightness a litlle keep it dark but just it would make it even better

  • @legoindyshortround oh please its standard defonition u just rendered it as HD thinking it WAS HD, and i removed u from skype cuz u said i was " fired" and i thouight if i was fired then i dont want my ex boss constanly ringing me ever day

  • @TheBluePhoenix2 well did you watch in HD?

  • @legoindyshortround no it is hard to see i know batman is ment too be dark but this is kinda too dark

  • @daniel3cb Lol ok guys this has gone far enough, the constructive critisism was ok but the parody was (though funny) a little soon.

  • @legoindyshortround I have done stop motion. Look at my bionicle stopmotion videos if you don't believe me. I haven't done lego stopmotion but I thought that the animation was good in part four of my comments. I didn't even say anything about the way you animated the episode either in this comment. Also there is nothing wrong with having a good story. Its fine if you weren't aiming for story, then that's fine. I had justifications for my criticism so I wasn't nit-picking.

  • Part 4. Also, Batman already did do something funny to his goons so that part of dialogue doesn't even make sense. The only other thing I can think of is that you made some of the scenes feel pretentious. The dialogue with two-face and Gordon near the end are what I really mean by this. The animation is good though. This has nothing to do with the little battle that you and Daniel3cb are having at the moment. This is my opinion and I hope you understand that this is to improve your work. End.

  • Part 3. The characters should be introduced in a way where people that don't know what batman is, won't need to rely on that knowledge to understand your story. If it is a continuation of a series, it would be fine, but it is a new series to my knowledge. You also need to know how to handle exposition carefully. I'm specifically talking about the hostage talk that two-face was doing. To be continued.
