The Last Remnant had an amazing soundtrack....until you realize that every single track is the exact same thing.

They're not that similar. Only to the untrained ear. >.> Similar instruments and pace but that's it. If you can't hear a difference, then I'm not sure what's wrong with you, but something's definitely up. You're not a big rock fan, are you? Every electric guitar melody sounds the same to you? All symphonic stuff sounds similar, maybe? Yep. Untrained ear.

It's not all about the battle themes, to me. The rest of the music is amazing.

The only thing i notice that is the same is the Tempo (speed of music), and generally battle music is fast paced

Those are battle themes:

The only things similar in each song is the fast pace(drums essentialy, and I wouldn't want to listen to ballads for a battle theme, but to each its own...) and the electric guitar effects.

The "Feeling" you get from each music is entirely different

Let us not forget the rest of the soundtrack because it's a great piece of work(and its not the same... trust me) ;)

The choirs are just phenomenal... I love the entire OST.
