This song has always been one of my favorites, it's from Robert's 2nd album "Wing Of Fire". On the lyric sheet that came with the record it says "Special Thanks to the makers and stars of the motion picture BLADE RUNNER". I remember reading somewhere the movie helped influence the feel and tone of this album which is a bit darker, more techno and futuristic than his first.
The first time I saw Robert Hazard and the Heroes was when I went down to the Philly Zoo to see the Asbury Jukes and they were the opening act. I can't remember if they were getting radio airplay at the time, but likely they were because it was a WMMR concert event. They hit the stage and ROCKED! I thought to myself, wow this guy is a like an 80's version of Bobby Rydell (which I meant as a compliment since he was always a favorite of mine, talk about cool, the dude could swing and he got the girl in Bye Bye Birdie and that girl being Ann Margret...a major score!) After the Heroes set, I wasn't that interested in seeing the Jukes as much. I found something new.
I saw the band many times after that in the Philly and Trenton area nightclubs. They were always a tight and well put together unit. Always professional, they had their set list together (no tuning up or putzing around between songs) and from the first song to the last encore, they gave it to ya. Thanks for the memories.
My sincere condolences to Robert's family and closest friends. He will be missed by many.
I have this album and it is still one of my favorites. Despite a dated vocal style, it is IMO, Hazards best work I'll never understand why his career fizzled out but such is the fickle music biz. New Wave was ending and the new romatics were emerging... he got caught somewhere inbetween i suppose. Can You upload more tracks off this great album?... How about 'Miami Beach'...love that one..R.I.P. and kudos to my little brother for discovering you for me!

My goodness...I read this and my reaction was "HE DIED?" I had no idea. I saw him at Widener College with 4 other Philly bands back in the early/mid 80's...and also saw him last summer at the WMMR event. I'm stunned.
