I don't see what the whole ' Not enough money to fix it ' problem is about, gather the biggest loan you can get from a bank, fix it up and never repay them.It should be fun to see how the postman tries to deliver your letters from the bank.

For what you get, $1.5m seems like a deal. That's a condo in NYC, or 5 bedrooms in a nice suburb. I'll take a missile silo over those! Cleaning it up and making it livable would probably be multiple times the purchase price though. Then there's that whole "living in the middle of nowhere" thing... forever alone.
