That it exactly. That's why some that count on the big budget fail because that's all it is and the little one that has no commercial backing becomes the cult classic.
I always thought just being able to tell a story adequately will carry ya thru in a lot of venues, then you'll get the technical business down in your effort to tell the story as well as you can. whether it's filmmaking, writing, acting, whatever. Seems to always come down to telling a story well to me.
i think if you have that, people will tend to forgive a lot of other sins, and if you don't have it, people won't put up with shit.
It's the best way to do it and develop your own style as opposed to someone telling their version. Except for one profesor inschool, the "teachers" of film, screenwriting, video, editing, etc. have yet to do one thing and it's been a while. You learn by doing and when you make what you want to make and are happy, then it's right.
Yeah, I was freehanding it and standing and walking in sand. I didn't want to bring the good stuff in sand so I left it home because the temptation would be to great. No I'm just using Movie Maker for these. When I get back into the serious (or comedy) stuff I'm breaking out all the goodies. I shot this with a small palm sony handicam. It actually got focus at over three miles but you lose the steady shot on max zoom.
I forgot about the fly by around the building by the Korean MIG with the Warthog. Lastly the guy flying the Hornet is just plane dog nuts and very glad he's on our side.
Thanks, I'm better prepared this time, A10 Warthog, the Fortress, Spitfire, Mustang, Stratofortress, Super Hornet (doing the hard stuff), Phantom, and the Thunderbirds. But that one, with the lack of color (from the sunwash in the camera)makes it look like the Angels. Not that the Thunderbirds did bad but the guy in the Hornet went nuts!

yeh I just got somewhat functional with FCP.
never took any kind of class having to do with editing, so I've been feeling my way around.

maybe the only way around the jumpy camera would be a fluid head tripod.
once the plane vector is established, it wouldn't be such a pain to follow it.
are you using imovie?
